It’s Facebook question of the week time and, this week, I managed to get a video recorded.

I don’t know about you, but I missed you guys!

This week’s question comes from Steve Birkett, who you may know as Above the Static, which is his Twitter handle.

He writes at Above the Static and for 12Most and is an Us Guys member.

He asks:

With the rapid pace of change in the world of new media, how crucial is it to keep abreast of new platforms and how do you folks personally manage what you stay up to date with?

This question comes at the right time because I got the very same during a presentation I gave earlier this week. The attendee is in charge of strategy AND execution for his organization and he asked how the heck he’s supposed to stay on top of all the technology changes, while also integrating the traditional with the new.

I answer it the same way I answered it earlier this week in the video below (which you can also watch by clicking here).

And, I totally screw up in the video. I said Steve is from Arizona and that he’s a cyclist. I was thinking of my friend Steve Bitter. Oy.

This Steve is in New York City. This is what happens when I try to do anything that requires me to think after the month of travel I’ve had.

Sorry, Steve! The answer is the same so I hope you’ll forgive my screw-up.

Oh! And don’t forget…if you have a question for us, go to our Facebook page and leave it on the wall there. I’ll answer it in a coming week.
