I remember the moment I “met” Erica Allison. She was testing out video (which she’s really good at) and I was the subject of her very first video blog.

I remember getting the alert that I’d been mentioned and I went over to the video and started to watch it. I still have the same reaction watching it that I did that first time. My cheeks flushed, I grinned from ear to ear, and I thought, “Who the heck is this woman?” It’s one of the nicest things anyone has ever done/said about me.

Since then, just six short months ago (though it seems like we’ve been friends forever), Erica has been a student of blogging.

She guest blogged for us last week and knocked it out of the park with 92 (!!!) comments, 75 tweets, and nearly 2,000 pageviews.

Let’s be real: That rivals my level of engagement…and I wasn’t on there encouraging people. It was all her

Earlier this week, she wrote on her blog, Allison Development Group, a phenomenal post about not buying the cow if you can get the milk for free. Right now, she’s up to 64 comments, but what I find even more interesting is that it went all over the web, including Facebook posts from the likes of Danny Brown. It even was included in a closed Facebook group where some heavy hitters participate.

Trust me on this one. You want to get to know Erica. She’s going to quickly become an A-lister in the next wave of them so why not make her part of your A-list now?

She blogs about PR and marketing, being a mom and a business owner, and life in general.

There are plenty of ways you can connect with her: Twitter, Facebook, her blog, LinkedIn, and YouTube.

In fact, you can get her thinking for free in all of those places while she ramps up her paid content offerings. Read her, connect with her, get to know her. You’ll love her cute little accent and you’ll love the way she treats you and everyone around her. YWRI.
